EarthChannel's easy-to-use, Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Audio-On-Demand (AOD) programs offer your viewers access to your high-quality streaming media 24-hours a day. EarthChannel supports Windows Media streams up to 1Mbs. We provide high quality, personalized streaming services focused on the small to mid-sized user, but can accomodate virtually any streaming requirement.

Each of our servers is connected to the Internet via a gigabit pipe and is designed to deliver up to 1000Mbits of high-quality Microsoft Windows Media streams. That translates to over 10,000 simultaneous 48Kbs streams for dial-up viewers or as few as 1500 high quality 512Kbs streams for high-bandwidth, broadband viewers.

We support the Windows Media format to achieve the highest quality and to assure the greatest client-side player compatibility. Windows Media Player ships with all Microsoft® Windows® operating systems and is also available for free download and upgrade from Microsoft's Windows Media web site. Windows 95/98/NT/2K/XP, MAC v8.1+ & Solaris operating systems are supported. Microsoft Windows Media Encoder is also a free download.
